Kootenai County’s Political Movement You Never Heard Of
These men are part of a splinter group of the Aryan Nations called The Order. Members of The Order declared war on the United States back in the 80s.
The Klansman in this photo is David Lane, who is considered an icon in the white power movement. Lane was partially responsible for the 1984 assassination of Jewish radio talk show host Alan Berg and many other crimes. He was sentenced to 190 years in federal prison.
From prison, Lane penned the so-called “14 Words” which became the best known slogan in the white power movement.
What is the America First Movement?
This is America First’s variation of the 14 words. “FIRST WE HAVE TO ENSURE THERE”S GONNA BE A FUTURE WHERE White People exist in the world, then we can worry whether everybody’s gonna get along.”
Securing a future for white people is a recurrent theme with America First, just as it was for The Order.
Kootenai County and the America First Movement
Post Falls Resident, Dave Reilly, participated in Unite the Right in Charlottesville. There are court records naming Dave Reilly as the person who came up with the iconic visual – the Tiki Torch parade. He allegedly thought it would produce a powerful image. He was right.
In this photo, Reilly is wearing an America First lapel pin. Reilly currently does video production work for campaigns. Reilly’s clients include KCRCC/IFF, Carl Bjerke, Diana Sheridan, and Ammon Bundy.
Reilly is likely behind the propaganda website, the Idaho Tribune.
*This is based on reporting from Daniel Walters formerly of The Inlander as well as the Southern Poverty Law Center’s HateWatch.
Have you ever attended a Terror Watch List Wedding? Dave Reilly has. He flew to Austria to attend this one.
The leader of Austria’s Identity Evropa couldn’t marry the bride from locally because he is banned from entering the US. The groom has an alleged connection to the Christchurch shooter in New Zealand.
Identity Evropa is another movement that targets young adults.
Here’s Reilly at Unite the Right in Charlottesville.
Again, you see the Identity Evropa symbol on Reilly’s shirt. Nick Fuentes was also present at Unite the Right.
The KCRCC has cross-promoted America First Foundation leaders and speakers.
The committee often appears in AF aligned websites.
KCRCC hosted an America First speech in 2021. Expenditure reports show $12,500 was paid to Michelle Malkin for her America First speech.
Rory McShane, affiliated with America First, has been paid over $220,000 for strategy in our local races. He formulates the “emotional issues” that Idahoans focus on in each election cycle.
He’s advised 13 candidates and 1 pac since 2021 in Idaho. The Secretary of State categorizes the Kootenai County Central Committee as a PAC, even though in our minds we consider it the “party”.
This kind of money and support in a small state like ours explains why school board races feel like Congressional level campaigns. McShane is a national level strategist.
McShane also represents Congressman Paul Gosar, who is close to Nick Fuentes. Gosar is known as the “Father of the America First”.
KCRCC hired Gosar’s McShane to represent the Committee.
What can we do about this?
We can maintain our traditional Conservative values and concerns about “woke” culture coming to North Idaho, while standing firm against racism, bigotry, and misogyny, especially when it appears under the Republican banner.
So, get engaged:
Support organizations that are committed to accountability and transparency. This includes groups that exist to elect qualified candidates and bring light to this darkness.
Attend meetings to learn for yourself what is happening in these various organizations.
Support local journalism that is under attack.
Learn about and consider signing on as a Republican for the Open Primaries Initiative which will allow election of qualified, not recruited candidates.
Vote. Your voice matters.
The current system isn’t working. Get engaged!
